Strasbourg has agreed to sign Ivorian center-back Abakar Sylla for €15 million.
The club was recently bought by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, and Strasbourg’s ambitions in the transfer window have been matched with those of other big-name teams.
That smashes Strasbourg’s existing record and shows how quickly things are going to change in their new era of cooperation with Chelsea.

Sylla is due to arrive in eastern France on Friday to undergo a medical and conclude his transfer.
