Italian Giant AC Milan has agreed personal terms with Luka Romero after the Italian became a free agent on June 30, 2023.
However, it was reported that the player may have played unnecessary games for the club.
Romero will take the medical next week before signing a four-year deal at the club, rather than originally believing that it was a five-year deal.
However, his future remains up in the air, and he will be evaluated during the pre-season training camp by coach Stefano Pioli.
AC Milan are looking for other reinforcements this season, and if more of their transfer targets come to the club, Luka Romero will be sent out on loan to another club.
In a transaction worth about €200,000, Luka Romero moved to Lazio from RCD Mallorca in July 2021.
He was immediately incorporated into Maurizio Sarri’s first team setup, routinely practiced with the group, and started to make a few appearances.
