Ethan Laird Has Moved to Birmingham City on a Permanent Transfer

Manchester United right back Ethan Laird Has Moved to Birmingham City on a Permanent Transfer for a fee of around £750,000.

The English player made two appearances for Manchester United in the Europa League. His first debut came against Astana in November 2019, and the second one was against AZ Alkmaar.

The 21-year-old secured loans several times to MK Dons, Swansea, and Bournemouth, who were in the Championship at the time.

The defender was a regular at Queen Park Rangers where play 33.

He scored his first senior goal in August, in a 3-1 win against Hull, and went on to have two assists. In the preseason, he appeared three times, racking up 148 minutes.

His exit marks his 11th year at the club since joining Manchester United at the age of 10. He has also represented England in U-17, U-18, and U-19 competitions.

After his transfer, he said, “It feels great. I feel like this is important to me now; this is the time where I get to showcase myself and not really think about anything else. It is a new step, a new pathway now, and I am excited to get started.”
