Chelsea Football Club have agreed personal terms with Senegalese and Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson ahead of next season. The London team will send their official bid of £35 to Villarreal next week.
It was reported that Chelsea are ready to meet Nicolas Jackson’s buyout clause, which is around €35 million (£29.9 million).
Last season, Nicolas Jackson scored 13 goals and created five assists in all competitions.
Villarreal’s first-choice striker, Gerard Moreno, is often absent due to injuries. Jackson was the club’s top scorer last season, scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances in La Liga.
The Senegalese international still has three years on his contract, but due to the interest from Premier League sides, the player is ready to fancy a move to the club.
Also, former Villarreal manager Unai Emery is considering offering the player the European Conference League and a three-year contract.
In contrast, Chelsea do not have Champions League football, as they finished in 12th place on the Premier League table with 16 losses.

Jackson joined Villarreal Academy in 2019 and was promoted to the first team. Although he made nine appearances in the 2021–22 season. The striker only managed two goals in the last World Cup.
