Tottenham Hotspur have gone ahead to sack their interim manager Cristian Stellini after a disappointing defeat against Newcastle in the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur owner David Levy decided it was time to end Cristian Stellini’s tenure at the club by releasing a club statement.
Levy claimed that the result against Newcastle was unacceptable and that he was devastated. He also said the board had to discuss the issues and why such result came to past.
Levy also said, “Christian will leave his current role along with his coaching staff.”
‘Cristian stepped in at a difficult point in our season, and I want to thank him for the professional manner in which he and his coaching staff have conducted themselves during such a challenging time. We wish him and his staff well.’
Tottenham were totally disgraced by Newcastle 6-1 and leave them out of the Champions League spot with six points.

Stellini took over from Antonio Conte after the Italian manager left the club by mutual agreement.
Ryan Mason will take over and also be in charge against Manchester United on April 27, 2022. It was reported that Mason has the support of the Tottenham players to take the team till the end of the season.
Mason is said to know everything about the club and the players. The players are trying every possible best to finish the season on a high note as reported by Levy in his statement.

The 31-year-old will take charge of Tottenham Hotspur for the second time as an interim manager. His first time in charge was when Tottenham Hotspur sacked Jose Mourinho in 2021.
Spurs are now outsiders in the race for a Champions League place and sit six points adrift of Manchester United, whom they host on Thursday night, despite playing two more games.

Cristian StelliniĀ And Roberto De Zerbi
The two managers clashed in front of the 62,000 fans who came to watch the match between Tottenham and Brighton.

It was reported that the reason De Zerbi was angry was because of the statement made by Stellini in the press conference before the match.
Stellini claimed De Zerbi exploited all of Potter’s work at Brighton. However, De Zerbi didn’t like the statement and he confronted Stellini during the match.
In addition, the match was marred by a lot of controversy, with Brighton being denied two penalties when they could have won the game.
