The All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has urged Nigerians not to allow the People Democratic Party to come into power again in Nigeria.
He said the party mismanaged the opportunity when they were in charge of the country for 16 years.
However, the PDP responded to Tinubu’s controversial statement by saying he should attend to his health first.
Tinubu, who spoke in the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos, promised to bring good health in terms of buying large hospitals, providing security, and creating employment opportunities.
He also took a swipe at the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who has been contesting since 1990 for the presidential post. Bola Tinubu told Atiku to go and rest.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu wants Nigerians to use their PVCs to vote out Atiku and the PDP. When they were in power, they failed to build major infrastructure, and they should never go closer to the Commonwealth again.
In addition, he urged Lagos ians to choose Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu again to lead the state.
“Dear Lagosians, I am making this appeal to you today to support extending the terms of Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat for an additional four years.
Do not abandon or suspend the bold vision that has been in place for more than twenty years.
At the rally were the party’s vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, the party’s national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
The speaker of the house of representatives, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, the chairman of the progressive governors’ forum, Governor of Kebbi, Atiku Bagudu, and the governor of Plateau State, Governor Simon Lalong.
