Manchester United are up for sale, and Ineos has publicly claimed that they are interested in buying the club from the Glazer family in March 2023. The Glazers have put up a sum of $5 billion for purchase.

On the 20th of November 2022, the owners took a decision of full sales of the club after Cristiano Ronaldo released a shocking claim about the club.

In August, United Kingdom billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, who has been a long-term Manchester United fan, showed interest in the club, but the Glazers at that time were not ready to sell.

When Chelsea’s former owner Roman Abramovich decided to sell the London team last year, Ratcliffe made a last-minute offer to purchase the team.

In the end, a group led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital was able to secure a deal for Chelsea worth 2.5 billion pounds ($3 billion), along with a pledge for an additional 1.75 billion pounds ($2 billion) of investment.

Since the declaration, Ineos spokespersons have publicly claimed they are in the bidding process. Ratcliffe is not the only person who is interested in the club.

There are rumors of the Glazer family traveling to Qatar to meet some investors.

However, Manchester United fans have shown a desire to have an Arab investor due to the previous change in fortunes of Premier League clubs owned by Arabs.

The Oil Moguls are known for investing heavily in football clubs with their ability to attract world-class players and managers.

The Glazers, who also own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League, have been under harsh criticism from United supporters ever since the team’s previous championship in 2017.

The Glazers have been the subject of heavy criticism since the team’s last championship in 2017.

Manchester City currently sit in 4th place on the Premier League table with 38 points from 18 matches. They defeated their Manchester neighbors for the first time since 2022.

There have been significant changes in the club, and the new manager Erik Ten Hag is currently rebuilding the club back to its glory days.

The fans still want the Glazers out of the club due to a lack of investment and renovations to the stadium and dressing room. The Glazer family keeps taking away from the revenue generated by the club.

Manchester United are currently owed £1 billion. The fans want the full backing of the current manager, and anything that will make the owner leave will make them happy.
