Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transportation, was seen on the campaign ground on Turban, Adamawa, to show support for APC Presidential candidate Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Although, there have been rumors that Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Rotimi Amaechi have not been on speaking terms.

The rally also supported Adamawa Governorship candidate Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed. Amaechi became the former Minister of Transportation after showing interest in the presidential primaries, which he lost to Tinubu in June 2022.
He has not attended any political rallies since losing the APC Presidential Primaries and being relieved of his ministerial duties.
Speaking at the rallies, the APC presidential candidate made different promises to the people of Port Harcourt.

Tinubu promised to end incessant killings and kidnappings in Nigeria, but the issue has been rampant, and the incoming president of the country should find a lasting solution to the issue.
He also promised jobs for the unemployed youth, adequate facilities, and good education, among others.

The President, Muhammed Buhari, was also present to support the flag bearer of the political party.
However, on February 25, 2023, a general election will be held in Nigeria to elect the president, vice president, house of senate, and representatives.

Rotimi’s wife is named Judith Amaechi. She is the head of the empowerment support initiative, which campaigns against HIV/AIDS. Judith was born on December 24, 1970, and she is currently 52 years old.
Judith also promotes gender equality. Judith has three children, and she belongs to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
She was the first lady from October 2007 to May 2015. The former Rivers first lady currently resides in Port Harcourt.
