A digital journalist named Adenekan Mayowa wants to show his own support for Peter Obi’s presidential ambitions.
Mayowa has promised to donate 5 million naira in cash to support the Labour Party presidential candidate and help him win his ward.
The journalist took to his Twitter account to tell Nigerians the benefits they are likely to get from Peter Obi’s government. He told his followers that the country will be great again if the young man becomes president.
However, with the two political titans pulling the crowd, the chances of Peter Obi becoming President in 2023 are very slim.
Peter Obi is the only Igbo contesting the presidential election after leaving the PDP, although Obi has not received enough support from his own people, with Charles Soludo coming out to criticize his investment while he was the governor of Anambra state.
Soludo had shown his support for the presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Although the Afenifere Yoruba group and General Olusegun Obasanjo have joined hands in support of Peter Obi’s campaign, Obasanjo, who became neutral in politics, is backing Obi to be the next person to change the situation in the country.
During Peter Obi’s visits to different states, there have been a low number of turnouts from the crowd, with many of them considering him a joker, with APC supporters already making fun of the turnouts.
Although Obi had shown leadership traits after he visited the IDP camp in Benue State, where he was welcomed by Governor Samuel Ortom, he also went to Bayelsa to see people affected by the flood.
Nigeria is a country that needs someone capable of bringing peace and making it a conducive area for investment and agriculture.
An individual capable of boosting our foreign policy and driving the economy forward should be the major aim.
