Fred And McTominay Are Not Good Enough For Manchester United- Roy Keane

Fred and McTominay have been criticised by the former Manchester United captain,Roy Keane ,who claimed that with these two players the club does not have any chance of succeeding. Fred and McTominay were so awful against Brighton.

Brighton continued with their domination of Manchester United from last season after they ended the match with a 2-1 win. Roy Keane has praised the Gary Potter side. Two of the those goals came from Gross, who was given the man of the match.

Manchester United couldn’t score a direct goal and the only goal they had was a mistake from Sanchez.

Brighton’s first goal came after McTominay lost the ball in the midfield when he was trying to beat more than three Brighton midfielders, and the second goal came when Fred was unable to stop Gross from scoring a tap in.

McTominay should have been awarded a red card after his horrible tackle on the Brighton player. He lost the ball easily when the club was on a counter attack.

Fred and McTominay

Manchester United needs to upgrade their midfield because it will affect them when they play bigger teams who are capable of scoring more goals. The club has been linked with Frenkie De Jong but has no idea whether he is ready to join the club.

Manchester United’s performance was different in the second half when Eriksen dropped deeper in the midfield. The Danish performed better than Fred and McTominay. He was so comfortable on the ball and was picking players making the run.

The manager had enough of their nonsense play and substituted Fred in the 52nd minute. McTominay was also removed by the manager in the second half, when he had seen enough of their nonsense play. Van De Beek brought in quality immediately after he was introduced.

Ten Hag should be allowed to implement his tactics, but he does not have the backing of the board. The manager needed a defensive midfielder, a striker, and a left back to balance the team. Erik cannot perform magic, and it is looking like the board is the main problem.

Manchester United have signed Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, and Eriksen, but these players are not up to the club standard. Sancho and Rashford did not get much of the ball today because the midfield failed to supply them well. The midfielders keep giving the ball away.

Manchester United will play Brentford next, and they need to kickstart their season from there.
